Our PreschoolWe offer an anti-bias curriculum following Reggio Emilia’s philosophy. In the Reggio system, each child’s intellectual, emotional, social, and moral potential is carefully cultivated and guided.
At The Wonder Years Learning Center, we believe that children learn best when they are given the opportunity to explore and interact with their environment in a constructive way and at their own pace.
Our preschool will provide an emergent curriculum, which is one built upon the children’s interests. Teachers and children will work together to uncover these interests so that projects can be used to study them in-depth.
We value group work for its ability to progress cognitive development. Children will negotiate, solve problems, and hypothesize with each other to promote their sense of group membership as well as individual uniqueness.
We aim to create a community of children, families, and teachers engaged together in collaborative inquiry and joyful play.
